Dr. Jenna Gershen
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological and neuropsychological assessments with children, adolescents, and adults. I am trained in administering IQ, ADHD, academic, adaptive functioning, personality, and neurocognitive assessments. In the process of evaluating my clients, I help them to optimize their strengths and maximize their life potential. I also conduct therapy with adults to help alleviate life stressors, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and eating disorders. I use an integrative approach in individual therapy (including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and humanistic/existential) and personalize treatment to each client’s specific need.
Experience: I completed a pre-doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship from 2016 to 2019 at a private mental health practice outside Dallas, Texas. I have experience working with clients diagnosed with, but not limited to, ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, mood disorders, and neurocognitive disorders. I have also trained Master’s level and Doctoral level students in report writing, assessment administration, and therapy techniques.
